Infant and Preschool

HKSB Children's Learning Center - Provides instruction in all developmental areas with home- and center-based services for infants who are visually and multiply impaired. Age Requirements: 0-5 years.

Elementary through High School

The Hadley School for the Blind - Promotes independent living through lifelong, distance education programs for blind people and their families.

Harriet and Robert Heilbrunn School - Provides education and therapeutic services to children who are blind or visually impaired and have other disabilities, ages 5-21 in a safe, secure setting.

The New York Institute for Special Education - An Educational Agency Established in 1831 serving students who are legally blind, emotionally disturbed, learning disabled and developmentally delayed preschoolers. Age Requirements: 5-21 years.

Perkins School for the Blind - Opened in 1832 as the first school for the blind in the United States. Committed to helping children and adults who are blind, visually impaired, deafblind, or with multiple disabilities reach their greatest possible independence.

Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired - A Center for Educational Services for All Blind and Visually Impaired Students in Texas.

Hunter College Teacher Prep Programs - Our programs will prepare you to become a certified Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI or TVI), learners who may be blind or have low vision.
