Assessment – Keyboarding – All Teachers

All EVS TVIs are expected to provide instruction in keyboarding to students in grades 4-12, when appropriate. Keyboarding skills are assessed for all students in grades 4-12 twice per school year. The EVS Keyboarding Skills Assessment measures the student’s current skill level, accuracy, and typing speed. See the EVS website for the current EVS Keyboarding Skills Assessment Form, in addition to suggestions for appropriate typing programs and definitions of keyboarding skill levels.

Submit EVS Keyboarding Skills Assessments in the student’s Database twice per year. The first should be entered by the month of December and the second by the month of June.
